To date we have raised $17 million in private funds in addition to the $16 million the State has contributed to this $33 million project. The state has hired the Zimmerman architectural engineering firm, who will help us with planning over the next year and a half. This project includes renovation of the Babcock Hall Dairy Plant and construction of a new Center For Dairy Research. Our goal is to have a state-of-the-art dairy plant to support our education, production, and research mission.
